Eg̈ë-îfo Bî was founded durring the late 10th century, by Hèsi Sheshêm. The establishment of Eg̈ë-îfo Bî suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Eg̈ë-îfo Bî which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Eg̈ë-îfo Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive gravel streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.
Right off the bat Eg̈ë-îfo Bî hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Many of those buildings are schools, scriptoriums, and even one college. One can only wonder what knowledge the town has come into.
Civic Infrastructure
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Eg̈ë-îfo Bî.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Eg̈ë-îfo Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî has an Scientific Academy which provides higher education in the natural sciences.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its fluid and florid elaborate style, comprising ornate, asymmetric designs and pastel shades. It is often considered to be a playful, light style, which made exuberant use of curves and emphasized subtle asymmetry in the general shape of its structures. Walls, ceilings and moldings are decorated with numerous interlacing of curves and counter-curves based on the shapes of ‘C’ and ‘S’, along with shell forms and other naturalistic shapes.
Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is recurring in Eg̈ë-îfo Bî.
The Ifrit near Eg̈ë-îfo Bî are known to be quite timid.
Eg̈ë-îfo Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves orgies to channel Invocation energies of tier 2 via guttural bellowing.
